Coach Krista Hines

Krista has been with Hi-NRG since 2018, where she’s been the Aerial Silks Program Director at the Chesterfield location. She dabbled in gymnastics during her preschool years, but since then has been concentrating on her yoga practice and training in circus arts. She’s been learning Aerial Arts since 2010 and has had the opportunity multiple times to perform locally with hula hoops, fire dancing, juggling, stilt walking and aerial silks. Her favorite thing about working for Hi-NRG is the ability to share what she loves with the youth in her hometown.

Coach Sydney Meyer

Sydney has been working at Hi-NRG since April of 2017 where she teaches Gymnastics at the Eureka location and also co-leads Tumbling there as well. She was a student at Hi-NRG from 2007 to 2015 and has been doing gymnastics since she was 5 years old. She loves seeing the growth in all of the athletes in the gym, especially when she sees past preschool students moving up and in to more challenging classes.

Coach Kayla Martinez

Kayla has been with Hi-NRG since November of 2022 where she coaches Girl’s Gymnastics, Tumbling, TNT and Cheerleading. She was once a student at Hi-NRG where she’s done gymnastics, but she’s been cheering her whole life. She loves working the kids and the opportunity to coach them in the things she is passionate about.

Coach Kyle Rowe

Kyle has been with Hi-NRG since the summer of 2023 where he coaches Junior Tumbling, Beginner Tumbling, Advanced Tumbling and Cheer. He has been cheering for 9 years! He loves being a part of the community at Hi-NRG both because of his coworkers and the kids he gets the opportunity to coach.

Coach Rhys Smith

Rhys has been coaching Junior Tumbling, Beginner and Intermediate Tumbling, Intermediate and Advanced Tumbling and Homeschool classes since January of 2024. Rhys has his bachelor’s in teaching and coaching and his MBA in Sports Management and has been doing gymnastics since 2023. His favorite thing about working at Hi-NRG is seeing the athletes maximize their full potential while also being confident and doing it all with a smile on their faces.

Coach Rosie Mazuca

Rosie started working with Hi-NRG when she was 15 years old. She currently coaches Girls Gymnastics, Tumbling, Artistic Team, Preschool, TNT Team and both Tumbling and Gymnastics Private Lessons Academy. Rosie has been doing gymnastics since she was 3 years old and has been a competitive gymnast for 17 years. Her favorite part about working for Hi-NRG is the positive support system, friendly co-workers and the joy she gets from coaching all the amazing kids.

Coach Tim Priest

Tim has been with Hi-NRG since July of 2010 where he teaches Tumbling and leads the Trampoline and Tumbling Team. While he wasn’t a gymnast growing up, he has trained and shadowed under Coach Paul for over 10 years. Tim loves the culture and the people of Hi-NRG, he says they have been his family since day one back in 2010.

Coach Sarah Vollmer

Sarah started in gymnastics when she was 3 years old, and continued off and on through the years. At the age of 14 she found aerial silks, and that is where her true passion began! For almost 10 years now, Sarah has poured her passion for silks not only into herself, but the other kids that she coaches as well. Sarah has been with Hi-NRG since 2020. Her favorite thing about coaching is when her students succeed whilst growing their confidence all while building lasting friendships.

Coach Tonya Stoyanova

Coach Tonya has been with Hi-NRG since the summer of 2020 and she coaches Aerial Silks and occasionally Gymnastics and Tumbling. She’s also been an Aerial Silks student at Hi-NRG and has been doing gymnastics for 7 years, with 4 of those being competitive. She loves the atmosphere at Hi-NRG, the management team and how the coaches connect and rely on one another to make a wonderful space for the athletes.

Coach Sam Alexander

Sam is the Birthday Party Program Director and one of the Preschool coaches for Hi-NRG Gymnastics. She first found Hi-NRG through her daughter who started attending class for gymnastics back in mid-2023. Through that, she started as an Event Host, and after serving in that role for a few months, she was approached with taking on the role of Birthday Party Program Director. Sam’s favorite thing is seeing the kids that walk through the doors master a new skill and seeing the absolute joy light up on their faces!

Coach Emilie Battaglia

Emelie is the wife of owner, Paul Battaglia, and has been with Hi-NRG since its start in August of 2005. She is currently the coach for the Girls Artistic Competition Team as well as Girls Gymnastics classes. Emelie started her gymnastics career at 10 years old when she and her family moved to St. Louis, and she has been doing gymnastics ever since! Emelie loves the positive culture that Hi-NRG has created over the years, knowing that when people walk through the doors of Hi-NRG, they are treated and loved like family. She also loves that the uplifting environment helps her students feel safe and supported as they work towards their goals.

Coach Paul Battaglia

After selling his first gym in Ellisville, MO, which he started in 1995, Paul set out to start Hi-NRG Gymnastix which opened in 2005. He began his gymnastics career as an elite gymnast at the University of New Mexico, and that career has now spanned an impressive 41 years. His two daughters are now following in his footsteps as they participate in Hi-NRG’s Trampoline and Tumbling Team. Paul loves Hi-NRG because of his co-workers and seeing all of the athletes’ enthusiasm on a daily basis.
